Shipping policy

Tobacco Shipping Compliance & Age Verification

In compliance with federal and state laws governing the sale of tobacco products, Gristmill Cigar Co. requires all customers to be at least 21 years of age. By placing an order, you agree to undergo our age verification process. All shipments are sent via carriers with whom we maintain a signed Tobacco Shipper Agreement, and an adult signature (21+) may be required upon delivery.

Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3 business days unless announced otherwise. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We currently fulfill orders in-house from our facility in Orangeville, PA.

Shipping Restrictions

Gristmill Cigar Co. adheres to the PACT Act and various state-level tobacco regulations. Please note the following restrictions:

  • Prohibited States: We may be unable to ship to certain states or zip codes due to local tobacco bans or flavor restrictions.

  • Hawaii & Alaska: Shipments to these regions may incur higher shipping costs or longer transit times.

  • P.O. Boxes / APO / FPO: Please note that because tobacco products may require adult signature verification, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or military addresses.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Gristmill Cigar Co. is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). For domestic orders, sales tax and applicable tobacco excise taxes will be calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

Damages

Gristmill Cigar Co. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
